Activities and educational experiences for Junior and Senior Cycle students
Tucked away on 365 acres of green parkland, Newbridge House and Farm is a hidden gem in north Dublin.
As one of the best preserved Georgian mansions in Ireland, the house is full of secrets and stories, artworks and artifacts, crafts and curiosities, all of which our experienced tour guides are waiting to share with your students.
Our working farm promotes compassionate farming methods, respect for all animals and sustainable biodiversity. For younger visitors, our new self-guided Farm Discovery Trail is a perfect way to learn about life in the farmyard.

Just 15 minutes by coach from Newbridge House and Farm, the 800-year-old medieval castle at Malahide Castle and Gardens is an ideal extra educational experience for students.

Junior Cycle: Scone/Bread-Making & House Tour (3.5 hours)
Tailored house tour followed by hands-on baking experience offering students an immersion in Georgian times. After a farm visit, enjoy the freshly baked goods in our Courtyard Room.
Cost per pupil: €12 (min. 20 students required)
Junior Cycle: Short Course Artistic Performance (3.5 hours)
Tailored house tour followed by group work and discussion. Designed to meet the demands of the new Junior Cycle curriculum, this programme supports the development of a creative concept to deliver this key learning.

Transition Year Teambuilding Day (4 hours)
Tailored house tour, unlimited access to the farm, and organised teambuilding activities including human foosball, airball target archery, bouldering wall and wrecking ball.
Cost per pupil: €23 (min. 15 students required)
All tour times include an hour-long break for lunch and snacks.

Please note: final numbers for all tours must be confirmed three days in advance of the tour date. Cancellations or changes made after this point will be non-refundable. Although we will endeavour to accommodate late arrivals, this may not always be possible and we ask schools to arrive on time for their allocated slots.
