Shannon Heritage are delighted to announce the re-opening of Newbridge Farm on 29th April
We come with the great news you've all been waiting for.... We are finally able to re-open our outdoor attractions and experiences at Newbridge House and Malahide Castle. So dig out those wellies and dust off your fair wings because from Thursday 29th April the Farm Discovery Trail at Newbridge House and the Fairy Trail and Walled Botanical Gardens will be back open for all to enjoy ( safely of course!)
We've been busy during lockdown with a few new surprises and additions to both attractions. So make sure you pack a picnic and make a special day of it either at Newbridge House or Malahide Castle
Please note: under government restrictions the Butterfly House at Malahide Castle will remain closed as it is classified as an 'indoor' space. We will open this as soon as it's safe to do so. However you'll be able to catch glimpses of some butterflies as you pass by on your way into the walled botanical garden :)
Please keep an eye on our social media channels for both sites for news and updates. As we work to re-open safely , please maintain social distancing, wear masks while in the visitor centre, public toilets and at ticket desks or in busy outdoor spaces.
As promised, existing memberships will be extended once again to cover the balance on your membership for the period of time we were closed.
Members can check their membership renewal date ( which includes the automatic extension period) at the admission desks in either Malahide Castle or Newbridge House on production of your membership card. If you are due for renewal it can be renewed by a member of the team at the desk straight away. If you would prefer to renew online you can do so by following the link HERE
Also note, members don't need to pre-book, please arrive to the admission desks with your membership card to gain entry.
Thank you for your patience, we are looking forward to welcoming you back, we’ve missed you!
From all at Shannon Heritage.
