Terms and Conditions

  • Tickets for the Christmas Experience are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

  • This event will take place rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the outdoor element.

  • Ticket confirmation must be presented at check in, located in the Farm Shop. You may be asked for ID.

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your booking time.

  • Due to the popularity of this event, if you arrive after your appointed start time, we cannot guarantee we will be able to accomodate you.

  • Access to Newbridge Farm is included in your ticket. If you'd like to visit on the day, please note winter opening hours are from 9:30am to 4:30pm, with last entry at 3:30pm. Unfortunately there can be no exceptions to this timing.

Q. How much are tickets for the Christmas Experience?
A. Adult €3 | Child €15 | Baby (under 12 months) €7

Q. What will happen on my visit?
A. On arrival, please check in at the registration desk in the Farm Shop with your ticket on your mobile device or in print. You will be directed towards the Elf Workshop and Mrs. Claus’ living room where children can partake in colouring and activities. Families will be called out to Santa’s Grotto in the house for their visit, and can purchase photographs upon exit. If there is time left in your half hour time slot, you are welcome to go back to the Workshop to finish crafts and enjoy the atmosphere.

Q. What is included in the price?
A. Fun and games with Mrs. Claus and the elves in the Elf Workshop, a visit with Santa, an age appropriate gift per child and a chance to say hello to Santa’s reindeer!

Q. Is there free parking available?
A. There is free parking however spaces at peak times (i.e. weekends) are limited. Please allow extra time for parking.

Q. Do I have to arrive exactly at the set appointment time?
A. Please check in to the Farm Shop 10-15 minutes before your chosen time slot if possible. If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee we can cater for your family at this time.

Q. What happens if my group is late?
A. Please give our events coordinator a call on 086 010 9236. We cannot guarantee your place on the Santa Experience if you miss your pre-booked time slot, but we will do our best to accommodate you for another time slot on that day or another day if there aren’t any available. We ask all visitors to show up 10-15 minutes prior to your booked time and to be mindful of any potential delays that would affect your visit.

Q. If my appointed time is, for example, 5pm do I get to visit Santa at exactly 5pm?
A. No – you have been given an 30 minute slot. You will see Santa sometime between 5pm and 5:30pm.

Q. Are there food and gifts available for purchase?
A. Our gift shop is open from 9:30am to 6pm. Please contact The Caterers for the most up to date information regarding the cafe.

Q. What are the photography prices?
A. €10 for one photo and €20 for three photos.

Q. Is the experience wheelchair accessible?
A. Access to Santa's grotto is via three steps and so is not strictly speaking, accessible. However, we are happy to assist with carrying a wheelchair down these steps as required. 

Q. Can I bring a buggy?
A. Yes, you can bring your buggy but they cannot be brought into Santa's grotto. All buggy’s are to be left in a supervised area within the Elf Workshop and can be collected on departure. Please do not leave any valuables. The elves will mind the strollers but claim no responsibility for personal items.

Q. Can I bring extra people on the day? 
A. Unfortunately not; due to capacity restrictions and the popularity of this event all children and adults must be pre-booked and paid for online.

Q. Are bookings refundable? 
A. Bookings are non-refundable so please ensure you pick the correct date and time before completing your booking.

Q. What is the maximum recommended child age? 
A. There is no age restriction.
 
Q. Does my infant need a booking?
A.  Yes. All visitors for the event must be pre-booked and paid for online.

Q. Is the event all indoors? 
A. No - while the visits with Santa and Mrs Claus are based in the Courtyard and House facilities, travel between is outdoors, as is the reindeer visiting area .

Q. Does Santa have a real beard? 
A. Of course he does! He's Santa!
 
Q. Will you have all of Santa’s reindeer?
A: You can say hi to eight of Santa’s reindeer, two at a time! They need their rest so different reindeer will be with us over the course of the month of December. Keep an eye on social media to see who’s in when!
 
Q. What about Rudolph? Will he be there?
A. Rudolph has a very important job on Christmas Eve, guiding Santa’s sleigh all over the world. For this reason, he is in training (yoga, meditation, aerobics, etc) and will not be at Newbridge. Don’t forget to leave out a carrot or two on Christmas Eve to help him stay fuelled on his big night!

Q. Can I visit Newbridge House and Farm without a Santa visit?
A. Yes, the Farm is open from 9:30am to 4:30pm, with last entry at 3:30pm. No exceptions. The house tours will not operate on these days. Make sure to come see us another time!
