Calender of Events 2012
Newbridge House and Farm regularly organise events to celebrate the breath taking beauty of the demesne and to introduce a wider audience to the many sides of Newbridge, from the huge variety of animals on the Farm, the gorgeous Georgian mansion, the state of the art adventure playground and the beautiful parkland. Below is a brief outline of upcoming events, more details will be added as they become available.
When visiting the farm remember the importance of hand washing if you have touched the animals and please supervise children when they wash and make sure everyone uses the antiseptic gel we provide. Please ensure children do not kiss the animals or touch their mouths with hands after petting the animals. We have provided foot baths for visitors and would encourage all visitors to use them. If you are pregnant or could be pregnant please do not touch the animals. We recommend visitors wear comfortable, flat shoes when visiting the Farm and take care when walking on our Courtyard as it has an uneven surface. We so want all our visitors to have a positive, fun and educational visit whilst still maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. We are very proud of Newbridge Farm as a working farm promoting compassionate farming methods and respect for all animals and sustainable biodiversity. Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you to Newbridge Demesne.
Please note revised Park, Farm, House and Playground opening hours :
Park opens 8am, closes 6pm, Farm/House opens Tuesday to Sunday 11am, closes 4pm, Adventure Playground opens 10am, closes half an hour before the Park closes.

Photography Walks
Hilltoptreks and The Newbridge House have come together to offer this great day of Landscape photography and skills workshop.
As the name suggests this is a hands on 1 day basic photography course. You will learn the basics of photography, including composition, focusing and exposure, while visiting this wonderful part of the country.
The Course is suited to all camera types from small digital and film to larger and the more advanced SLR.
What to Expect: We will all meet up in Newbridge house where there is a room provided for a 2 hours talk on the Photography techniques, methods and skills.
After this we visit the gradens of Newbridge house to take some pictures with the instructor available to give advice on how to get the best results, with regards to composition and lighting.
After lunch we will then take a short walk in the area to get some more exciting pictures. The Instructor will be you all day and available for any questions you might have about photography or your camera.
Then we will return to Newbridge house to go through some of your pictures and to go over what we have learnt from the day.
It's a great day out with a chance to really get to grips with your camera and your creative side.
